| Our lil Christmas Tree |
Thanksgiving went really well and we were truly blessed to
have a couple dinner appointments! I got really full and could barely finish
any of my food. Also I learned a very valuable lesson, don't serve yourself a
ton of something that you haven't tried yet. There was this mac and cheese dish
that looked really good so I got a lot of it on my plate, but it was REALLY
spicy. I had to eat all of it so I wouldn't offend anyone...my mouth was on
fire for the rest of the day! Haha.
We had a lesson with Sandra this week and it was
interesting. She had a couple of tangents about aliens and apes (I don't know
what it is about people and aliens here). It all started with "God is our
loving Heavenly Father and we are His children". It was really
entertaining, she is a great lady though. We are hoping that she can get her
car fixed soon so that she can attend church, she lives about an hour away from
the building!
I am grateful to be here in Louisiana with all these crazy
people. I am so excited for this Christmas season and expressing the love that
we can feel through Christ. I love y'all so much and pray that we can all grow
closer to the Savior this Christmas season. Have a blessed week.
A Gift to the
Savior
"We are simply
asking all members to pray, knowing that if every member, young and old, will
reach out to just 'one' between now and Christmas, millions will feel the love
of the Lord Jesus Christ. And what a wonderful gift to the Savior." -Elder
M. Russell Ballard
Love,
Sister Cornia
